Our Brand Ambassador Crystal Gail recently celebrated her first surgiversary in August. While she is very close to reaching her first year weight loss goal, the most treasured gifts have been what she gained the past 12 months. Crystal: I decided to have VSG because I wanted a better quality of life. My health was declining and I had to make a decision to get the weight off or continue to be miserable and in pain. Now that I reached my first milestone, my quality of life is much better than I could have ever imagined and I'm currently training for my first 5K.

Crystal: Most of my favorite NSVs all involve travel! I'm able to comfortably use an airline seat belt. I used to have to extend the belt all the way out, now I have access when I buckle my seatbelt. I went ziplining for the first time this summer and I was way under the weight requirements. Finally, I get to shop in my favorite clothing stores. I always loved the brand Express, but could never wear the clothes. Now I wear a size Medium to Large in their brand. That's a big personal win for me.
